Travelodge Wembley Hotel

Breakfast from 0600 wasn’t ready at 0600 - the hash browns were like rubber - I questioned this with staff they insisted they were fresh - they were in my opinion reheated - the only coffee machine that was working ran out - I questioned duty manager who was more interested in looking at his phone - after a pleasant experience last night breakfast was so poor

Travelled down for a concert at Wembley Stadium and ended up booking this last minute as my original hotel cancelled the night before. Booking was £179.99 which I was pleasantly surprised about given it was the night before the concert and close to the venue. Check in was quick and easy. The room was clean and tidy, but unfortunately the sleep wasn't great. We were told at reception that our room was at the back of the hotel away from traffic, but this wasn't true and must've been a mistake from the receptionist. The room (501) faced the main road which was very noisy and in the middle of a heatwave it was boiling but we couldn't leave the windows open because of the noise so had to keep them shut. We had a small table fan but it wasn't enough to combat the heat. Breakfast was good and staff were helpful towards a young girl who was sick. The best part is how close it is to Wembley. It's about 45-50 minute walk which sounds long but is great if you don't want to get stuck waiting for the train / tube.
