The Cura has very nice decor having been recently renovated. It is in a good location with friendly staff. There was a comfortable bed albeit the rooms are smallish/cosy (which is common in London) but there is a big screen TV. The lack of a nespresso machine and fridge was a let down. breakfast limited - continental with a couple of pre-cooked extras

The Cura is a complete rebuild of the old Park grand, I was a regular customer of that hotel but now it is in a different league. Beautiful new bedrooms and super comfy beds. The lounge/restaurant area is so welcoming. The food is exceptional. The Chef takes great pride in what he does. The hotel feels like home, the staff are so welcoming, more than anywhere of the 52 other similar standard/price ranged hotels I have stayed in London over the past 3 years. Of course, if you want to stay in a five star hotel and pay accordingly, you may find more luxury, marbled bathrooms and expensive artwork! But for the vast majority of people who want to stay in a super comfortable 4* hotel, where the staff are incredibly friendly and treat you like guests staying in their home, with warmth and the personal touch, with great brekkie and all day food, for me this is number one. And I look forward to dozens of stays ahead.

I stayed for 1 night the day I arrived in London and it was enough to love the city, and of course, the hotel! Its location is perfect, close to the subway station (we used to get to the hotel), the room is beautiful, super well decorated and even had a heater on the bathroom floor. The breakfast was super varied and delicious, not to mention the service as a whole that was impeccable. I highly recommend!
