Friendly and helpful check in. Upgrade to our twin room so we had a mezzanine floor with a kitchen area. Nice amenities, everything we needed. Hotel was nice and quiet but in a great location only a short walk from Paddington Station. Would recommend and stay again.

This was, without question, the dirtiest hotel room I have ever stayed in. Room 123 was absolutely disgusting. The windows were so filthy that they made the room feel dark. The décor was in a terrible state, with ripped wallpaper, paint marks everywhere, and an overall feeling of neglect. The shower was dirty and rusty, and the net curtains looked like they had never been washed. To make matters worse, there was grass or some other debris all over the floor when we arrived. We had dropped our bags off earlier in the day before going to a concert, so we didn’t actually return to the room and properly check in until around 11pm. By that point, it was too late to raise the issues immediately, so we had little choice but to stay the night. Unfortunately, breakfast was just as disappointing. Despite there being three of us, we couldn’t be seated because single guests and couples had been placed at tables for four, leaving no suitable table available. We waited a long time to be seated, and after asking two different members of staff for coffee, it still didn’t arrive. Overall, this was an extremely poor experience. The cleanliness and maintenance of the room were completely unacceptable, and the breakfast service only added to our disappointment. I would not stay here again or recommend this hotel to anyone.
