Hilton London Paddington

I've stayed at plenty of hotels in London, and the Hilton Paddington is the one I keep coming back to. The location is hard to beat if you're moving in and out of the city, but what actually makes the difference here is the people. Emmela at the front desk stood out immediately. She was warm, attentive, and went well beyond what her role required to make sure everything was sorted — the kind of service that makes you feel looked after rather than processed. The restaurant was a highlight of the stay. Chef Cynthia's food was consistently excellent, and Khairunnesa looked after me with real care and genuine warmth every time. Between them, meals became something I looked forward to rather than an afterthought. Hotels can be refurbished and rooms can be upgraded, but you can't manufacture a team like this. If you're considering Paddington, this is my recommendation without hesitation.

Arrived at Euston, walked to Euston Square, caught the tube to Paddington, walked to the hotel. Arrived at the hotel. Got told very sorry but we’ve overbooked the hotel but we’ve booked you into Hilton Euston instead (a much worse reviewed hotel, and also not at Paddington, bearing in mind I booked Paddington specifically because I needed to get a train from Paddington). Got put in a black cab back to Euston (waste of an hour) When I got to the hotel in Euston they also knew nothing about the arranged transport for the next morning but suggested getting a taxi 1:15 before my train, again the entire point of me booking Hilton Paddington was to be at Paddington to avoid this? Terrible experience and dealt with terribly in my experience too.

Had a beautiful stay in this Hilton. The service in the restaurant was especially lovely. Nema was v sweet and really took care of us. The chef making omelettes was equally amazing.
