Holland Court Hotel

I honestly don’t know how this place is still in business. The room was filthy — stains on the sheets, mold in the bathroom, and a smell I couldn’t identify but definitely couldn’t ignore. The walls were paper-thin, so I got to enjoy my neighbor’s snoring and late-night phone calls. Staff were either absent or rude, and when I asked for help with the heating (which didn’t work), I was told to “just wear a jumper.” Breakfast? If you enjoy stale toast and instant coffee in a cramped basement, you’re in for a treat. Avoid at all costs.

Staff very welcoming, standards very low sadly with dusty floors and mouldy window frames which were not even double glazed so draughty and noisy. Stopped offering breakfast after my booking was made, I'm thankful of that so can eat elsewhere. Small rooms. Even smaller TV on a big wall. Thin bedding. Mattress tired. Flaking paint. Woke up itching this was after the fire alarm went off. Shame as a great location for Olympia.

Room clean and quiet the staff went above and beyond the call of duty to make our stay a good one the other half suffers allergies and the freshly painted room was effecting her chest. The helpful young lady on reception couldnt do enough to help us she was a great help to us Many thanks to her
