Hyde Park Apartments

Early July 2 night stay in top floor single appt 14. Appt accessed by 2 floor lift then steep stairs. Positives: friendly & accommodating hosts, budget price, close to tube, plenty of food & drink choices, nearby Hyde Pk / Kensington gardens & access to Royal Albert Hall / Museums. Downsides: Very basic appt, in need of bathroom refurb / plumbing renew, ventilation upgrade. Bed situated in cramped alcove. Small fans ok but not for very hot weather. May be other nicer rooms but cannot recommend this one.

Absolute terrible stay at this accommodation. Paid £149.00 for one night stay for 2 Adults. The photos advertised on the website are nothing like the real life experience. An awful smell of damp in the shower room which was very unpleasant for the entire stay. Mould found within the shower room. Very dated and dirty decor. More like a bedsit and most certainly not an apartment. Complained to the hotel manager and asked for a full refund, photos sent to the manager which I was offered a 20% refund which I declined as the stay was awful. The manager stopped engaging and dismissed the refund in full. Booked via booking.com and complained to them with no help at all. Avoid this accommodation at all costs

Apartment without many expectations but clean, great location to take transport but still walk you are already in Hyde park and Buckingam Palace to see the changing of the guard. The only flaw but this thing is widespread, the water drain always very slow, but otherwise and the perfect price
