London Bridge Apartments

We were very anxious about our booking after we read the reviews below. But our stay at Londen Bridge apartments was above and beyond our expectations. We had a very large apartment at Keppel Row, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, one with a seperate douche and bathtub. A modern kitchen with an oven and dishwasher. A spacious living room with flat screen tv. The appartement was near Londen bridge station. The key pick up point was far away, but that was the only negative point (and we were aware of this before our trip).

Location isn't SE1 1SZ which is why I booked. This is where you collect your key, my apartment was half an hour away. Apartment was a good size but the first thing I noticed was the overwhelming smell of DAMP rotting wood from a leaking bathroom. The on suite I cleaned before I used! TV didn't work. I sent an email on the evening I arrived to London Bridge apartment no response! when I complained through the booking company they were told I should of complained while I was in the apartment not after! Stay in London a lot for work... never stayed in such a terrible place with no customer service skills! Save your health and book somewhere else, so many lovely clean places that are not rotting! this one should be condemned.

We booked a "superior" 2 bedroom apartment: 1 double and 2 singles for our family of four, wanting to spend the extra money on a good quality and comfortable apartment. The booking address was confirmed and the apartment looked great on the website. When we collected the keys we were told that it wasn't the apartment we were getting and company policy was to give you anything available within a 10km circumference of Tower Bridge. When we got to the apartment it was a dump: holes in doors, kitchen cupboard doors hanging off, dirty, mouldy bathroom, the dishwasher didn't work etc, etc. There was only enough hot water for one person to take a very short shower before it ran out and took 2 hours or so to heat up again. Best of all there were only two double beds, and when we rang and asked they said they don't ever do single beds, even though our booking was confirmed as such. There was only linen, towels etc for 2 people. The trundle bed in the lounge which was the only alternative was broken so we had to put the cushions on the floor for one our kids to sleep on. It left us wondering if this was a so-called "superior" apartment what was a normal standard place like: maybe a cardboard box in an alley way. The staff were rude and completely unhelpful - we would absolutely NEVER recommend this business to anyone and would very actively discourage anyone from using them. DODGY, DODGY, DODGY!!!!
