Old Etonian Hotel

This hotel is just ok, not a great standard but location is good, we easily walked to station to get into central London but you could also get a taxi. Shops, coffee shops nearby. Hotel needs a lot of tlc, staff are polite but reception isn't maned so you have to go into restaurant, bedrooms are of a very average standard, quite noisy, we got woken quite early on a Sunday morning by people talking in the next room (walls are paper thin) shouting in room above and banging all before 8am! Breakfast again was very average, second morning we walked into Harrow to a lovely Italian coffee shop for breakfast which was lovely, all i can say is the hotel is just ok

Visited for a family Sunday lunch. All diners ate different dishes and all diners were satisfied with their choices. A very relaxed atmosphere prevails in the restaurant. Staff were attentive and ensured a very relaxed pace of dining. A wide range of dishes were on offer, enough to satisfy all palettes. Reading some recent reviews mainly from residents did give cause for concern prior to our visit. All these were unfounded. We have dined here some months ago and were very pleased with the experience. We would have no problem of returning again when the occasion arises.

First it says Parking on the website, dont be fooled, they have no parking, they also have no help in carrying bags up the hill, which would give anyone a hernia or some a heart attack. No reception, we had to walk through the restaurant with people dining. Room was ok, the view made it. Alas no decaf, lacking electric sockets, and kettle had to stand on the floor to reach a power point. Kept awake by people upstairs banging about until gone 12, and then again at 8.30. Bathroom was disgusting, hair laying on rubber mat, dirty walls, shower screen broken and minging. Breakfast wasnt much better. The views and location are what fills this so called Hotel, and restaurant. Its a shame the standard dosent fit it.
