Olympia Hotel

We booked this hotel for our trip to London not expecting much but it’s almost unsafe how bad this place is. We were put in a basement room right underneath the reception (B3) and staff kept us awake all night walking around and scraping their chairs. The room was unbelievably hot with a small fan that did nothing to cool it down and the window could not be kept open as there were people smoking outside which filled the room with smoke, triggering my asthma. When asked to move room, the staff declined and did nothing to help. Honestly I would avoid this hotel as the cheap price it costs still feels like a rip off in the conditions this hotel is in. I’m sure if you are given an upstairs room it could be a decent experience, but what we dealt with was far from that.

There were no air condition in the room. The lady at the front desk said it was broken for a while and no one notified us. Wi-Fi did not work and our family in the other room at no TV or air conditioner beds were very uncomfortable. I would not recommend.

Lets be honest this isn't a 5* hotel but for the price your paying don't expect this. It's basic but clean the rooms seem to be recently renovated with a nice sized shower cubicle. The beds not the comfiest but for a night or 2 does the job.
