Ramada Plaza Gatwick

We were looking for an easy option to stop, park and transfer when flying from Gatwick and we certainly found it, what a great choice. The hotel reception were very helpful on check in and arranged our pick up for the following morning along with instructions when we land. Parking was easy and you don't need to leave your keys with anyone and the rooms were well equipped and clean. The bonus of the hotel came when we returned after a 9.5 hour flight from a two week holiday to find our car would not start and simply wanting to get home (being another 3.5 hr car journey) when we went into ask if there was any change they had a battery charger a chap called Jon was very accommodating, he found a charger and we started to trickle charge the car, which was probably going to take some time ! so he went to find another member of staff (sorry forgot his name) who came with his car and jump leads and got us up and running. We offered them some cash which they flatly refused to take but even went to get us both a couple of bottles of chilled water to put in the car for our journey home as the weather was very very hot! We cannot thank you enough for your help, this was above and beyond and the type of service you rarely get anymore.

Great stay Sharjeel very good

This is Four star hotel with some age however it is very good because of it’s excellent staff who were superb in their roles especially Eva and John who assisted with a small issue during our 4 night stay . One of a handful of hotels whose GM is obviously respected by staff out in the public areas . Breakfast included in our rate was really ok but not outstanding, staff however were great. We were assisted by a bar staff member to watch an Australian NRL game ,much appreciated. Regrettably the dining options were disappointing with mostly fried and greasy dishes. Also the spirit of cost control at the expense of customers was evident everywhere, understandable but , we’ve had many similar experiences without these and eventually quality and exceptional will always win . We were in a room with a 2.5 kw aircon that was actually quite noisy even on silent an inexplicable turn off 3 nights by itself . Nevertheless we were extremely grateful for being in a cool room in a great bed nice room anda hotel fab pool.
