SO Quartier

I’d booked this aparthotel a while back, due to the price and location. I then went on to read the reviews and got a little nervous after all the scathing reviews. When we arrived the man behind the desk was polite and helpful. There was no smell that my partner or I could detect. The room was a good size and functional. It was clean, if I did a ‘four in a bed’ style finger swipe under the drawers I’m sure I’d have found some dust. But, for a weekend in London it was perfect. We weren’t in a lot, it was a great location with amenities and tube links. It’s a decent price so I think the comments are a little unjust? I may have been lucky with the room but all I’d say is don’t let all of the 1 star-ratings scare you.

Please read through these reviews and avoid this place like the coronavirus! When checking in with my family - seemed ok, not much chatter just "gives me your money and here's ya key card". Got to 2nd floor, hallway had weird waft about it...not sure if it was the plug in by lift. Got in apartment...very sparse. Decent size rooms and beds. That's about all that was right with the place to be honest. Needs a really good deep clean and a much needed refit as you can see by the pictures. shouldnt have to anti bac wipe surfaces in a place you've rented before using anything. We also had no hot water when we got back Saturday night after a day being tourists around the city. I think Stevie wonder decorated the front room and cleaned the place to be honest. It's a shame cause the location is perfect. Buses and tube close by. lovely little pub next door, Tesco to the front. With all the other places you can book around the area and London, this place needs to step up there game. Wouldn't recommend at all, sorry.

The place is not fit to stay in. We left after the first night of a two night booking. As it was smelly, dirty & mouldy. My little girls chest was hurting her due to the mould! It’s basically a halfway house. Not a apartment/hotel. We couldn’t use the lounge or kitchen due to how disgusting it was! The pictures are completely different to the actual reality of how gross it is! PLEASE AVOID!
