We recently were hosted and dined at Fire & Spice inside the DoubleTree by Hilton London - Marble Arch, and it exceeded expectations! * The Food: The menu offers an incredible, modern spin on classic Indian dishes. The spices were perfectly balanced, and the presentation was top-tier. Don't skip their Indo-Chinese specialty dishes—the sweet and sour flavor combination is fantastic. Prawns, Kati roll, Paneer, salads oh and the aubergine chips!! is a must!! * The Atmosphere: The decor strikes a balance between upscale hotel sophistication and traditional Indian vibrant, warm hospitality. It’s spacious, clean, and ideal for both a relaxed dinner social catch up or a special occasion for hiring. * Service: The staff was attentive, Shubham Dhal, Nikil head chef, Atul, Jay your cocktails were spot on lived the martini cheers! and welcoming was super! and very knowledgeable about the menu options and cocktail pairings. * Location: Super convenient if you're out and want to meet friends and family after shopping or exploring near Oxford Street, Bond street, Marble Arch and Hyde Park. Plus, getting the classic warm DoubleTree cookie on the way out was a nice bonus! Highly recommend stopping by if you're looking for delicious, authentic-meets-contemporary Indian cuisine in central London. Will definitely be back! The staff is super lovely and helpful, like I’ve rarely seen. The hotel is freshly renovated to the highest standards of modernity. However, besides the room size which is London typical, they have forgotten what sleeping is about: silence and darkness. The window offers almost no soundproofing while I wasn’t facing the main street, and the curtains are letting light from both side to the point it was daylight bright in the room at 6am. You can hear ppl taking shower, you can hear a car passing-by with music a bit loud. Again, the room is super modern with all the bells & whistles, such as three (3!) control panels for the lights. There’s no way to switch off the bathroom exhaust and it runs loud. Make sure to get your earplugs.
