Hilton London Hyde Park Hotel

This Hilton lives up to its bad reviews. I literally have nothing good to say about it. I only stayed as I had to book a last minute room here for my last night in London, when I normally stay at 100 Queen’s Gate. Highly recommend that Hilton btw! I am a gold member and usually the London Hiltons let me check out a bit later as my flight back home doesn’t leave until night time (and are 25 hours mind you, so it’s a massive journey and normally the staff have a bit of empathy). Not only did this Hilton not let me stay even 30 minutes after check out, but they were incredibly rude about it too. The man on the desk’s reason was that they were fully booked, but when I looked the hotel up, there were plenty of rooms available for the night. The Hilton is also run down, the beds and floors are creaky and the walls are paper thin. I also don’t know how someone above 5’5 and 50kg could fit in the shower. I literally could not fit in the shower when trying to shave my legs. The ‘buffet breakfast’ is also extremely limited and lukewarm. Honestly had this not been a points stay I would have been extremely irritated, but luckily I paid what the hotel was worth, which was nothing. Do not stay here.

I stayed for 2 nights in the hotel with my sister and it was more amazing than I expected! Its location is excellent, super safe neighborhood and facing Hyde Park, a beautiful park and perfect for relaxing. It also has easy access to the subway and buses that lead to every corner of London, always busy region and we feel very safe. The breakfast is a separate show, super varied and had options of eggs prepared at the time as you want. Immaculate attention since our arrival, we left our bags for a walk and when we returned we were immediately received with a beautiful and cozy room. I have no words to thank for the amazing stay, I highly recommend!

Reception staff snarly and obtuse. Rooms tired. Bar staff lethargic. Stain on bed sheets Night porter that moved my room v.kind and apologetic, Look around for something better.
