Avoid this hotel – very disappointing experience. I strongly recommend thinking twice before booking this hotel. The room was extremely dirty and far below any acceptable standard. The level of cleanliness was shocking, and the condition of the room made the entire stay very uncomfortable. This was not what I expected at all, especially considering the price we paid. The room clearly needed a proper deep clean and better maintenance. Unfortunately, the overall experience was extremely disappointing from the moment we entered the room. I would strongly advise anyone considering staying here to look carefully at the recent reviews and photos before making a booking. I personally would never stay at this hotel again. Definitely not recommended.

Avoid! This so called hotel is nothing short of a joke. We had the unpleasant experience of staying here, well when I say staying I mean we stayed for 10 minutes and walked out. The room we had was on the top level. The decor is outdated and miserable, when we had to check in we had to walk down the street and enter another building. There we were met with a miserable receptionist. The reception area was horrendous, 2 black couches which looked like they’d been salvaged from a skip, a filthy glass table and poor decor. Anyways we entered our room, it was nasty, the bed had marks on, the bedding was filthy, the curtains were ripped, the cupboard under the sink was filthy, the mirrors were also filthy. The light had 2 bulbs missing and was covered in dust. There wasn’t any air conditioning either. The carpet was filthy. It was evident no one had cleaned or checked it. Safe to say we left the key and booked into a premier inn. We sent an email to the receptionist to advise we had left soon after our arrival, no one replied.

The hotel is in a nice location, but that’s probably the only nice thing about it. We arrived and were given our room key, up on the 4th floor. When we entered our room, it was clear it hadn’t been cleaned. The pillows were dirty and stained with makeup, the beds unmade. There was empty pizza boxes, empty bottles and cans. We complained at reception because despite being a cheaper price we would still expect the bare minimum of a clean room. We were moved to a new room in there other building, which we noticed didn’t have a fan (as was included in the booking) and so we politely asked if we’d be able to have one brought to us as it was 34 degrees. There were also a number of flying ants through the room, on top of the duvet etc. I do understand due to the weather staff may have been rushed of their feet, and just generally uncomfortable as the heat was horrible. But the lady who was dealing with us at the reception seemed annoyed by our request to stay in a clean room, and wasn’t apologetic at all of the condition of the room we’d been given.
