We had an accessible twin room which was really spacious and quiet. Very comfortable beds and efficient shower. Staff very friendly.

Size of room great. Cleanliness great. Massive problem was the overpowering scent (artificial air freshener) which was so strong it made our eyes itch and noses run. We had to keep all of the windows open in order to be able to sleep. This of course meant horrendous noise from typical Friday night revellers in the area. The furniture and fittings are on the cheap side and we’re looking quite tattered. Beds were rickety and we had to put padding under two of the feet to stop them rocking. Toilet flush panel was broken and came off the wall every time someone flushed. Got fingers trapped in mechanism because of this. Disappointing experience.

At this price I don't expect to have to carry my luggage down three floors because the dodgy lift has broken again, and for Reception to simply find my annoyance amusing. I also don't expect my room to be over 30C at night due to the total lack of aircon in the hotel.
