Best Western Plus Pinewood On Wilmslow

Stayed here as part of the Caledonian Coronation Street Tour. Staff friendly and welcoming and a special shout out to Dean who assisted us with specific dietry requirements and could not have been more helpful. Rooms clean with everything you needed including additional pillows and towels. Plenty of storage space.

This is definitely not a 4 star hotel. My sister and I went on a two day coach trip so this hotel was booked by the coach company. We checked in on 27th June and only stayed one night. Didn’t have to wait long to check in, our room was on the first floor so we decided just to take the stairs as there were a few people waiting for the lift. There was a really bad smell in the stairwell. When we got in our room we noticed there was no air conditioning the window was open because it had been a hot day, we did find a fan in the wardrobe. The bathroom was clean but the room itself was not, definitely not 4 stars standard, cobwebs on the window and from the ceiling to a light, big stain on one of the beds base and no casters on the other side thick dust on the headboard and the radiator had its very own fur coat. We did sleep on top of the beds which were clean, The staff were really pleasant and friendly and the breakfast was also nice. We did show the lady on the reception the photos we took and she did say the housekeeping supervisor wasn’t in on that day, so maybe they will get the rooms back to a better standard when the housekeeper returns.

We often stay at this hotel the night before an early flight from Manchester Airport, and it continues to be a reliable choice. On our most recent stay, the room was quite warm when we arrived. There was a fan in the wardrobe, but we needed a second one. The lady on reception was extremely helpful and promptly brought another fan up to our room, which made a big difference and helped us have a comfortable night’s sleep. The breakfast is always a highlight, with a very good selection of both hot and cold buffet items. The quality of the food is excellent, and it’s a great way to start the day before travelling. Friendly service, comfortable accommodation, and a great breakfast mean we’ll continue to stay here whenever we’re flying from Manchester Airport.
