Rude staff add on money if you want to check in early £10 to check 1 hour early the beds are from the opening of the hotel if you get a window view loos at a wall or a lane with urine use coming and going people begging outside not very well lit up at night a lot of people use the side streets as a toilet bed clothes are clean but burn holes in the carpets the Chinese lady on desk very rude and you can't get a breakfast in the hotel at all so just like a hostel not a hotel room only and they mean that so badly needs updating not worth currently in it's condition £30/40 per night for a double £20 for single we got changed £110 for one night glad we didn't stay a second night it all so advertised breakfast but they don't have food in there just a dim bar that's closed all the time. And toilet did not flush a election came and fixed it. Shower was ok but beware of hot water very hot could could burn a child even an adult.

The room was a good size and very basic, which was fine for our stay. However, as it was an internal room with no windows, it became unbearably hot. We requested a second fan, which was delivered promptly, but unfortunately it made very little difference to the temperature. As a result, we didn’t sleep well, which was disappointing.

We booked a room with no window, which was the only option available to us. Upon entry, the room seemed to be about 35⁰, we left and came back to a room just as hot despite the outside temperature cooling significantly. We were provided with one really dirty fan, needing to be plugged in at the end of the room because the rest of the plug sockets were non-standard. There seemed to be an air conditioning unit in the room, but the temperature dial did nothing, and we were later informed that this was only to be used for heating. The room itself was dirty and cramped. Everything seemed to fall apart as soon as you touched it. The bed was uncomfortable, and the shower kept switching back into tap mode. As mentioned, the plus was non-standard near the bedside table, which meant we could not charge phones. The room generally smelled a little bad, and we were only given a single towel for a double room with 2 people booked in. The corridors were smelly and confusing, with multiple signs pointing in different directions for the same thing. If there was a fire in this hotel, i doubt anyone above the 1st floor would be able to find their way out, as there was also no fire safety map in the room. The hotel itself is clearly going for an old, vintage aesthetic, but without the modern amenities needed (especially during a summer heatwave).
