Manchester Airport Runger Lane North Premier Inn

We picked this hotel for its close location to Manchester Airport, however it’s a very isolated area with no shops or restaurants near by, only an expensive pub a 15 minute walk away.. The hotel itself is good, with a shuttle bus to the airport costing £5 per person and starting from 4am running every 30 minutes until around 10am. If you have hours to fill before your flight, walk to terminal 2 which is a easy 20 minute walk up the road from the hotel. Then catch the tram into the city centre and have a look around. The train,bus and tram station is well sign posted. Plenty of pubs and eateries with variety in the city centre including 2 Wetherspoons.

The location of the hotel is great. The atmosphere outside and in the lobby is ok. The rooms needs to be upgraded. The bathrooms must be upgraded. Cleanliness is bad (in the bedroom, bathroom and corridor). The noise level is pretty quiet. The service of the hotel crew downstairs and cleaning crew was not good. The crews didn't misbehave or anything but after each interaction, I asked myself a robot could've done better job answering my question! Seriously! If AI came for their job, it would replace them like this. The cleaning crew was ok. They do their job but cleaning rooms once every 5 days!? That needs to be changed! As far as amenities, what amenities!? It is as bare bones as it gets. There's no fridge, no water fill up station (no matter how clean the water is in the bathroom sink, the condition after couple days of not cleaning makes it gross to fill out water bottles there), no safe, etc.

Great typical standard of premier inn. We had a nice view of the runways which my little boy loved. It was clean and very quiet However it is expensive and parking is really expensive. We were only there for literally 7 hours and charged £15
