Well located. Not modern. Wifi did not work

We recently stayed at your Manchester Piccadilly hotel, occupying three rooms and I wanted to take a moment to let you know how impressed we were with our stay. From reception, the bar and restaurant to housekeeping, every single member of your team was fantastic. Everyone we encountered was friendly, polite, welcoming and incredibly helpful. Our rooms were spotlessly clean and we were also very impressed with the excellent choice of food available at breakfast. However, whilst all of these things certainly contributed to an enjoyable stay, it was your team that really made our visit excellent. Their friendly and professional approach made us feel very welcome throughout our stay and we genuinely appreciated it. Please pass on our thanks and praise to everyone involved. They are a real credit to your hotel and deserve to know that their hard work and attitude really do make a difference to guests. Well done to the whole team – you should be very proud of them!

Needed to make a bank transfer because card payment did not work. The hotel initially drew the money twice. Construction work was underway with drilling and banging in the early morning hours. Old rooms with damaged doors that slam loudly when they close. The wifi was not working in the room. Our hot water disappeared for two days. The public toilets on the second floor could not be flushed and were overflowing with paper and excrement. Otherwise ok.
