Negatives: - Not pre-informed of the City tax - Not pre-informed of the £100 deposit on arrival (despite paying in full) - No lift access. Not even in ground floor level as there were at least 2 steps into the hotel and 3 up to the ground floor apartments. However when asked, assistance was given to take luggage upstairs. And if it wasn’t for a staff member passing us in the stairs on departure who offered to assist us we would have had to struggle alone. - Shower drain was blocked and had to have maintenance to fix it the next morning. - Apartment did not feel clean. - States King size bed in description however was a standard double. - Poorly fitted Kitchenette. Cupboard draw difficult to open as was catching on the door and uncertain counter units did not line up. - Very loudly closing doors from all rooms on same floor. Fridge door wasn’t shutting properly so things didn’t stay cold. Poor ventilation in the bathroom. No extractor fan. Door did not shut properly into bathroom so no privacy. Positives: - Has an iron, fan and hair dryer. - On sight parking if you book in advance. - Excellent location. All amenities whiting walking distance. -Deposit back the day we left.

Stayed for two nights and couldn’t fault it. Huge apartment with amazing view, clean and tidy and nicely decorated to feel fresh and contemporary. Ideal location for cool bars, live music and nice food. My boyfriend said it’s the best hotel he’s stayed at 👏🏼

I have stayed in villas in the UK and Europe and this place thinks of everything, rare. This is our third stay at Supercity, twice in Manchester and once at Edinburgh. It offers everything we look for in a longer than weekend stay. We had booked the executive 2 bedroom with ensuite and balcony which is ideal for a four day trip. Everything is thought out like the tabs for the dish washer or for the washing machine, washing up liquid, sponges and Jay cloths, iron/board, clothes drier… I could stay here easily for a week to two no problem. The balcony is great, the lounge area comfortable and the double glazing is wonderful, close the door and you hear nothing. You are a stones throw from all the biz and Mackie Mayor, Food, my favourite is 6 minutes walk away. My regret is that I didn’t find this brand earlier as I have been coming to Manchester for over 10 years. We had a small issue, but Angel at front reception was excellent, he is an absolute gem for Supercity. Would totally recommend. Get a room on the 13/14th floor.
