Village Manchester Hyde - Hotel & Leisure Club

The staff at the hotel particularly in the swimming pool and gym reception were a credit to the company particularly Jesse who went out of her way to help me with a problem I had 😁 The restaurant bar staff particularly Lucas who was fairly new and a little bit nervous but so helpful and polite and went out of his way to help us he made a really good impression and I’m sure he’ll be a credit to the hotel. The rooms were lovely and clean and we had a great stay due to quality of the staff we would recommend staying here 👍😁

I would dearly like to give my sincere appreciation to the young bar manager at Hyde Village, named Brodie. She went the extra mile in helping one of her work colleagues, namely David , who is one of the maintenance men. David took seriously ill towards the end of his shift. Brodie took charge. She coaxed , calmed and comforted David within the staff rest room. She phoned an ambulance . She personally escorted David to hospital. Brodie even stayed at hospital until I arrived.... DAVID IS MY SON. He was in a bad way when I got to hospital, but thanks to the actions of Brodie, David made a relatively speedy recovery. Thanks again Brodie , much appreciated 👏.

Village Hotel is generally a nice place to stay. However, I would advise guests to be aware of the parking policy and any additional charges. We recently had a booking at Village Hotel Hyde. There is no free parking after the first four hours, and if you have provided a credit or debit card at check-in, it may be charged automatically for parking if applicable. We also noticed a charge of £17.50 on our card for breakfast, even though we had not booked or eaten breakfast. When I contacted the hotel the following day after noticing the charge, I did not receive a clear explanation. I eventually had to contact my bank to recover the payment. I'm sharing this so that other guests can check the parking terms carefully, keep an eye on any charges made to their card, and review their account after their stay.
