We visited yesterday & what a fab experience. Becca was our waitress & she was so pleasant & friendly. Her customer service skills are fantastic. I will definitely recommend you to others. The food was such a high quality & plentiful. Myself & my family believe this is the best afternoon tea we have ever had ..thanks so much again.

We stayed for two nights at the end of May. Our room on floor 12 was equipped for people with disabilities which would have been fine but for a very low wash basin and more significantly the toilet seat was cracked right through and nipped ones skin as well as being unhygienic. We complained and were moved to the adjacent room. In the second room the heating/cooling controls were broken and couldn’t be adjusted or switched off. We spent a very uncomfortable night with a very noisy fan and a ridiculously warm room. In addition the shower head fixing was broken and could only be used if hand held. We complained the next day and were moved again. In third room again the heating controls were faulty…the temperature adjustment dial was broken off but it was at least set at an acceptable temperature and could be switched off. The staff were friendly and didn’t hesitate to change our room but they didn’t ask for any details about the faults and it was clear that no remedial work would be initiated. At breakfast one of the two coffee machines was out of action and the other broke down multiple times each day. We drank tea instead. I think the hotel has maintenance or management issues but it is in a good location for access to trams, the Lowry and local restaurants

We had a fantastic stay at Holiday Inn Manchester Media City. The hotel was lovely, in a great location and the reception team were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. A special shout out to Michael, who went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. We will definitely stay again when visiting Manchester!
