An excellent hotel just as I would expect. All the staff were polite, helpful, and knowledgeable. A good welcome, a clean and well appointed room. I ate in the bar area which seemed more cozy than the restaurant. Food was freshly prepared. A good option if you are on a long North South M6 journey. Lots of easy parking.

It was handy for going into Liverpool for an event, right next to the motorway, though in the middle of an industrial estate. The public areas were nice and looked recently decorated, staff were really friendly and welcoming. The room was an ok size, clean and fresh looking. The beds were ok, though the sheets felt cheap which was a problem because it was a really hot day so they felt sticky. There was a fair bit of road noise in the night which didn't help. Breakfast was fine, the cut fruit being very nice.
