Ramada Encore Haydock

Check in staff friendly & helpful. Free parking. The room was clean and comfortable, I had a pretty good sleep. Next to a very busy road though and as it was a warm night had to keep the windows open. The TV didn't work and one of the mains sockets was faulty. Shower was hot & powerful. We had to leave early so didn't have time to try the breakfast.

Stayed one night after wedding reception. 1st problem they allocated a room that was already occupied. Not a good start. Then they put us in a room that was right next to the east Lancs main road. The traffic noise was unbelievable. The shower had broken tiles. And mould. The toilet smelt. And you could hear ever done from a noisy person above. I will not stay there again or rec moment it, I’m afraid had slot better for a cheaper price.

I was assigned a disability access room on the first floor which was absolutely filthy particularly the bathroom which was rancid and engrained with dirt, mold & soap scum. Disability features were rusting and unsafe even the tap was loose and nearly falling off. The room was roadside and i may as well have been sleeping there as the noise was so bad. Informed reception about the issues however they stated that the place was full so i could not change room. Slept in my clothes all night on top of the bed. Emailed the manager of the hotel to voice my concerns and was provided with 1000 accor points (whatever they are) worth about £20 off next stay and was informed that a full refund was not available. I have never stayed anywhere as bad as this absolutely horrible!
