Campanile Runcorn

Good location at Runcorn station. Convenient for Liverpool at a very cheap rate. But very old and tired hotel. Bed was ok, but room was from 1980s. Needs to be refurbished.

What can I say, decor is outdated, the windows latch/lock broken it’s being held closed with a white cupboard lock you would use for a child on a cupboard. The bathroom muld on the tiles tiles also yellow they need cleaning , hole in the quilt cover, the net curtain ciggie burns and dirt on it , could do with having new, as it’s all fraying, the curtains well their dated needs new ones The heater their is not knob thing to turn you would have to use pliers to turn the heat up, the heater up the top of the wall in the bathroom talk about bore war it dosnt work so not fit for purpose ! Also rat catchers around the grounds of the hotel I wouldn’t let my dog stay their it’s a disgrace !

Lovely location close to work. Room is comfortable and spacious. The shower 🚿 is refreshing. Very good value for money. Room is always clean. No noise except late night traffic which is minimal. Staff are very kind, helpful and always willing to go above and beyond.
