We stayed here for 3 nights on our first visit to Liverpool and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is in a nice location , close to the water and handy for Albert Dock , Ferry trips and the Museum. We were checked in quickly and the room had everything we look for - very clean, big enough to move around in, a great shower - hot and powerful- and a decent sized safe. We had read some reviews on the rooms but our room on the first floor was excellent. We had booked breakfast and as others have reviewed you are asked to indicate a time that you will go for breakfast - it was fine for us and it didn’t seem like a rigid time. We read reviews that breakfast could be a challenge but again we found it very good. We were there Sat - Tues for the Liverpool game and we had no problem getting a table around 8am and never saw anyone having to wait for a table. The food was pretty good - cooked breakfasts were easy to order and a wide range of fruits, cereals, pastries etc and decent coffee machines ticked all the boxes for us and the staff were really friendly and helpful. They always ask about allergies - which is a good sign. We don’t have any but have a friend who has to be very careful so I always note when it’s done well. We like Indigo and the way they blend a bit of local character in the different locations and would recommend this hotel and if we return to Liverpool then happy to go back.

Just had a very nice 2 night stay here. Check in was very professional and polite, the receptionist was lovely and gave us some good tips for getting about the area. The room was clean and functional and included a complimentary mini bar with beer, wine and pop. Breakfast was also good, you can can order from the menu and it was freshly cooked using quality ingredients. There are a few pubs and places to eat within easy walking distance. The river front is about 5 minutes walk as is Moorfields station. We have stayed in Liverpool many times in the last few years and the Indigo is by far the best hotel we have stayed at. Top marks all round.

The Room: Room was small. Curtains need changing. The "nets" were shoddy and we could only open the blackouts on one side only. Surely House keeping know this! House keeping forgot something each day ( towels, toilet paper, the glasses that we used were left dirty on the desk for the 3 day trip). Seal around shower starting to mould and when water hits it black particles runs into the shower tray. Bed was uncomfortable so much so that we tried to change our train ticket to leave a day earlier. Breakfast: There seemed to be a lot of staff who were nice and friendly but despite this the service it's not running efficiently. Eggs over cooked, guests constantly asking for bread to be replenished. Like another reviewer says we also skipped breakfast here after the first day and rather have a relaxing and enjoyable breakfast elsewhere. The Corridors on level 1 and staircase: A strange smell on level one like a steamy gym and the staircase had another strange smell. Neither were pleasant. Location: Excellent but because of everything else i wouldn't stay here again.
