Lovely Sunday lunch, the tomahawk pork was delicious. As suggested by Kelsey..I'm sat on the train and have had to undo my buttons😂. Must have been the choc torte pudding! The restaurant is in a great location and is lovely inside. Had a view over the water and as a ship was in port it was even more special. The staff are outstanding 😍💯 and deserve the big tip as all suggestions were on point. We will be back with family next time.

We stayed here while attending a work conference and had a fantastic experience. The hotel was spotless, comfortable, and the staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent, and the conference facilities were well organised. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so enjoyable—we wouldn't hesitate to return and highly recommend this hotel!

Would definitely stay here again thanks to the great location, friendly staff, and a lovely breakfast. We had a busy weekend, so we didn't spend much time in the room, but there were a few things that could be improved. It felt like the room had been designed by someone who doesn't wear makeup! The lighting above both the bathroom and bedroom mirrors was far too dim, and there wasn't a plug socket anywhere near a mirror for using a hairdryer or straighteners. A magnifying mirror in the bathroom would also make a big difference. The funniest part of our stay was the mysterious "trumpet" noise in the morning. A few times I was convinced someone in the room above was trying to wake their partner by playing the trumpet! It wasn't until later that I realised it was actually the water pipes. Once I'd worked it out, it gave us a good laugh. Overall, a really enjoyable stay in an excellent location with wonderful staff—just a few practical tweaks to the room would make it even better.
