Alba Cottage

Everything could not be more amazing. We had a perfect experience staying at the Alba House. We have no idea how to express how grateful we were when finding this wonderful place: they are a lovely family with warm hearts, the building is exquisite, the biscuits are truly tasty and the room is much more pleasant than we thought

It is really a beautiful house and a beautiful place. The room was very nice and comfortable. The owners are adorable, attentive despite the language barrier and always on Trip Tip. Sorry I didn’t have time to say goodbye the other day.

Great room with good facilities. The table could be a bit bigger, the number of TV channels is a bit limited (or would an instruction manual have been helpful?). These are probably the only "weak points". The landlady is very friendly and accommodating, the breakfast was always prepared with love and attention. On the day of departure we were able to leave our luggage in the house after we had actually checked out until we left. A big plus: the two bus stops (seven lines to South Bridge/Princes Street) are 10 m and 20 m away, and a supermarket is 300 m away.
