Cluaran House

We had booked two rooms for three days for April 11 - 13. The dang Coronovirus happened and we, traveling from the USA, can't go on our planned trip. This establishment refuses to refund our room price. We would have been satisfied with a credit, but no. Other establishments we've booked with have given refunds due to the circumstances and we will definitely re-book with them when we plan this trip in the fall or next spring. So, when we do make it to Edinburgh, we'll find a friendlier place to book. Very disappointed in Cluaran Guest House even before we arrived. They didn't even answer the last e-mail that was sent.

This is a lovely guest House in an ideal area for visiting Edinburgh. The owner is very friendly and very helpful. The beds were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was for me perfect. I spent an enjoyable 3 days here. However TripAdvisors description of the bedrooms is incorrect. I booked what I was led to believe was a king-size bed..... Our room had 2 singles. My advice would be to contact the owner directly for bookings.
