Holiday Inn

We stayed here for the Fringe. Hotel was fine, was the usual facilities although we didn't make use of e.g. pool, gym. Room was clean, breakfast was fine. Staff welcoming and helpful. Price was decent given the fringe was on. And importantly for us very easy to get to Edinburgh City Centre with regular buses from right outside the hotel. Limited eating options by the hotel but has it's own restaurant.

Our stay was so comfortable. We enjoyed the hotel’s amenities- the pool, jacuzzi and it was just great that the Edinburgh zoo was just a stone throw. The girls had a great time in the pool. We didn’t want it to end. After the visit at the zoo, we came back to relax and we had dinner. The room was just right for us as a family, nice space. I loved the food served at the hotel and everyone was nice, warm and welcoming. An amazing two days.

The worst Holiday Inn I have seen around the world... Basic breakfast, inefficient room, with a hair dryer positioned outside the bathroom with only one mirror, and there were 4 of us in the room (a double bed and a sofa bed, room sold as a quadruple). The curtains were even dirty with little drawings that some rude person made with a pen... The only positive thing is the strategic location near the center
