Check-in went smoothly and the room on first impressions was comfortable. Unfortunately, the toilet bowl had been overlooked but was quickly attended to after reporting. After a good nights sleep breakfast was a chaotic mess. Staff were busy and efficient in clearing tables but the servery area was without food for long periods ( creating long queues) and worktops were messy. Even simple tasks such as filling juice containers, wiping the counters and replacing cutlery were not done. There seemed to be sufficient staff but the logistics and timings in the kitchen were all out of synch. Disappointing given we had many a pleasant stay here in the past. Location is excellent

Location was perfect for a family wedding at nearby Season Quayside. We appreciated the early check-in (1pm instead of 3pm) as we were needing to change for a wedding commencing at 2.30pm. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Higher price than we would normally spend, but city prices in tourist hotspot seem to dictate the level. Rooms were well equipped, with all that you need for an overnight stay. However, given the regular/rapid turnaround of rooms means that it is clearly not possible to ensure the cleanliness of the carpets!

No safe, no fridge and no hairdryer, dirty cups left and not washed by housekeeping staff, trying to be positive about this hotel but was greatly disappointed, granted it was only a place to lay our heads but to not have a safe meaning we had to take valuables out with us when we went out, place is definitely in need of a refurb, toilet required to be flushed about 8 times which was time consuming and annoying, was reported to staff, one of the lifts was constantly out of order, breakfast mediocre, not enough healthy options, for £220 a night I would have expected more. Plus points payable parking and near to Tram stop.
