Hotel du Vin Edinburgh

Amazing. I worked closely with Jennifer Chen for months to prepare for our trip and we were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary. Jennifer went above and beyond offering recommendations and simply being an amazing human being. The hotel is really awesome. Each room has a name and not a number which is really cool. The room was spacious and was a suite. The air conditioning was perfect but they also provided a fan if you need it. Water pressure and hot water were excellent. Hair dryer worked perfectly. There is also an iron and ironing board in the room. We stayed 6 nights. Great area, literally around the corner from Grayfriars Kirkyard and 8 minute walk to the Royal Mile. The Bistro restaurant was okay. The same breakfast dish varied each morning. The cigar bothy was perfect for us as my husband enjoys an afternoon or evening cigar. Many locals come to the cigar bothy so if you are social you will meet some really good people that are local business owners. Thank you Hotel Duvin for an amazing time and Thank you again Jennifer for being such an amazing person. As a side note history shows this building was an insane asylum many years ago. No creepy experiences but cool environment. Modern yet quaint.

A beautiful and well appointed boutique hotel in the middle of Edinburgh and many attractions and shops. The upstairs suites were so comfortable and easy to become rested in from the many walking travels we did. The breakfast was divine, and the hotel Staff were all so pleasant and helpful when we had questions. I highly recommend staying at the Hotel du Vin when traveling to Edinburgh.

We booked the Burke & Hare private room for our silver wedding anniversary. The whole day was excellent and we were very well looked after by Gavin, Alexis, Diego and Zachary. The food was excellent and we were able to stay in the room well after the booking time was complete which was lovely. A fabulous experience.
