Nicolson Apartments

Worst accomodation I have ever stayed in! No running hot water! Single glazed sash windows that look like they haven't been cleaned in years, absolutely filthy. Window in kitchen has huge gap at bottom, frames falling apart. Windows not adequate for keeping out noise as only single glazed. Apartment smells awful I think due to the smell of all the different foods coming up from the foreign foods shop directly below. Electric radiators need replacing with ones that actually radiate or blow heat into the rooms. We had to sleep fully clothed with hats and scarves on it was so cold. Taps in my bedroom on the sink were hanging off, looked underneath and the back nut on one of taps had disintegrated prob from being overtightened by a heavy handed DIY er or 🤠 plumber. Vanity units in bathrooms terrible condition. No hot water, no plugs either. No working plug in kitchen sink either. No bowl either to wash pots. Had to rinse dirty pots under freezing cold water. Only saving grace was the electric showers at least worked, so thankfuuly we could at least have a shower. Entrance felt very insecure and felt quite vulnerable as ithe street outside id very rough.. There was a street attack right outside the Indian restaurant next door on one eve. B Police everywhere, ambulance, blue and white police taped off outside. This property should not be allowed to be rented out on any site. Avoid at all costs. I didn't book it, my partner did. I would be demanding a refund if I had, prop not fit to rent out. AVOID AT ALL COSTS PLEASE !!

I hope Booking throws this provider off soon! It is simply cancelled by the provider the day before your flight. No reason or excuse. And that causes quite a bit of stress I can tell you. In short, my advice; find another apartment or hotel.

These apartments don't exist. There is no one at the office address. The apartments address is now private residence. DO NOT BOOK. We had to find alternative accomodation for the night. Shops either side of the office and apartments have had many people asking for help about these bookings, as we went to ask if they knew anything about them.
