Premier Inn Edinburgh A1 (Newcraighall)

Good bed, check in, TV, breakfast. Bed wasn't changed after 2 days despite asking for it to be done.in the end I asked for sheet and pillow case and did it myself! Shower head was broken and sprayed water all over bathroom, running some items in my toilet bag. WiFi was patchy.

The main advantages of this location are that the hotel breakfast is superb and the parking is free. A fraction of the price of most Edinburgh hotels. You can stay here (this is a go to hotel for workmen and labourers) and pop into Edinburgh for the day on a 10 min rail ride without having to worry about parking/traffic. Parking gets you the day of check in and the entire next day when you register your car on the touch screen in the lobby. The staff are excellent, intelligent, helpful. Whoever the woman working the breakfast nook is should get a raise as she runs a tight ship with a smile. Clean and organized area, well cooked food. We included the buffett breakfast with our stay and it was cheap and worth it’s BOOK your breakfast time at check in as the area is small. The rooms are decent, but basic. We did hear water draining through the plumbing in the walls at night until about 10pm and you can hear the train pass during running hours but neither of these detract from the purpose of staying here. Great on the wallet. Recommend.

Very tired accomodation one Room with a brick walk outlook out of the window. Very small breakfast room Totally unprofessional check in girl with a drum stick lolly in her mouth while checking us in
