The hostel has a nice, international atmosphere, and the room, although very small, was sufficient for a short stay. Unfortunately, the breakfast area could use some improvement, especially when it comes to cleanliness. The biggest downside was the price, which felt extremely high for this standard. This may have been due to our stay during the Edinburgh Festival in August, when prices were probably higher than usual.

It is a scam! We booked a room with 2 single beds (not bunk beds) and we found a bunk bed. We made a complaint and the staff did not take responsibility. Furthermore, the room faces the bar, the noise is hellish, it is impossible to rest because it operates until the early morning. The room has no air conditioning; between the confinement, the noise, and the heat, there is no way to rest. The reception staff is awful, we asked for a complaint book and the cancellation of the reservation, and we only got an email address that nobody responds to. They even expected us to stay. The Wi-Fi is terrible. Everything is bad. We have filed a claim for a refund because we need our money back since we had to go to another hotel, and we are still waiting. I do not recommend it at all, it is truly a scam.

The staff were amazing, very helpful and kind. The process of check-in and check-out are very fast, so you'll have a lot of time to enjoy the city, and even if you come early they have a luggage storage. The room was a bit warm, but very clean with private bathroom and toilet that was really nice. I didn't hear any noise, all good to be fair. The location is very good, so if you are in doubt just choose this one, we loved it and regretting we didn't spent the whole week there.
