Beautiful building. Twin room with ensuite bathroom lovely, clean & suprr comfy beds. Breakfast bags were a nice touch. Irene & Stuart very welcoming. There was nothing missing for our stay. 100% will return & recommend too all.

This was a great spot for our first few days in Scotland. Short walk to some good restaurants. Under a mile walk to the heart of the tourist area. Good communication from proprietor. Easy to find and check in. Room has a tea kettle, tea and some morning goodies. Bed was comfortable. The only negative comment is in regard to the electric water heater not maintaining temperature but owner said they are addressing that. The tub/ shower is narrow and high to step in, just an FYI.

We loved our stay here and will definitely book here again if we visit Edinburgh again! The guest house is located in a silent neighbourhood but with a bus stop directly around the corner the city centre is not far away. I’d also suggest walking to the old town, it’s not so far away. The rooms a small but cozy with an en suite bathroom and parking lot. Would suggest a smaller rented car though as the lane to the parking lot is narrow. But it’s manageable! I was very delighted to see the breakfast bag in our room, it gets refeshed every day. I think it’s a lovely touch. During our stay we haven’t met Steven or Irene but I do believe they are very nice guys. At least if I judge the short mail exchange. Thanks for our stay, we will come again!
