The Rutland Hotel

Loved loved LOVED this hotel. Excellent location, clean and comfortable space. I went with my mom and brother and booked a 2 bedroom apartment and we honestly didn’t want to leave it was so nice.

The hotel location and staff were great. The room was well appointed and clean and did have a really pretty view of the castle. We stayed in room 6, the junior suite for 2 nights. The room was very nice, however, the bed wall was shared with a stairwell which had metal stairs and a fairly loud door(s). We weren't sure if it was an adjoining business or apartments, but at any rate, we could hear (and sometimes feel) people going up and down the steps and entering/exiting the doors. This went on from the time we went to bed (around 10 p.m., stopped sometime around 1 a.m. and then would start back up around 5 a.m.) We were able to sleep, but if you're a light sleeper, this may be a no-go for you!

This was a lovely hotel (apartment). It was spacious and the service was excellent. It is the sister hotel to an underground gin club and the Huxley restaurant. Both are awesome. Great people and service!!!
