Travelodge Edinburgh Airport

After several weeks traveling we wanted a relaxing comfortable night before our flight home. This hotel only offered 30min of free WiFi per 24hr period which made checking into flights, driving directions, airline notifications difficult. The bed was small and uncomfortable and the desk area was sticky and needed cleaning.

I stayed in the travelodge at Ratho station in Edinburgh. I received a lovely welcome from the 2 ladies at reception. Unfortunately, the room I was given, had a very strong smell of urine coming from the bathroom. I kept the door closed but during the course of my evening, the smell made its way into the room. Very disappointing that the cleaner thought this was acceptable.

Booked and paid for twin room and found out that in fact twin rooms consist of 1 quenn size bed and 1 fold up bed WiFi is disgraceful and they have the audacity to charge for a service that is quite clearly below par Would I book again NO Try and find somewhere else where at least the WiFi works
