Hilton Newport

The location was great, the staff was very friendly and the lobby area is nice. Our room was avarege, although I would not classify it as worthy of a 4-star hotel. It was generally clean, but pretty old style. The shower had mold in multiple places (base of shower head, sink holes, corners, etc.) and there were long hairs in the bath tub sinkhole. Please, check for these when you clean, because it can seriously gross people out. There was no AC in the room, only an old dusty fan. I tried to use the "live chat" feature via reading the QR code in the room, but I never got a response (stayed for 4 nights). The problem I chatted about didn't turn out to be a problem after all, that is why I didn't go up to the front desk about it. I wished the room had had a small fridge so guest could store small drinks. The breakfast and dinner were all booked out throughout our whole stay.

Been coming here 25 years before celtic took over it has a special place in my heart ive brought kids up in the coldra the rooms are amazing and facilities second to none terry Matthews has a great nack to making u feel special also a nack of getting the right staff its our anniversary this time and check in was such a pleasure with Adeola and Dan they gave us a complimentary drink and a beautiful room their professionalism really does reflect on the welc000ome of this hotel cant thank you enough o and the rooms are beautiful as long as im breathing i will continue to stay in coldra court hotel ive stayed here more than 60 times and hope for many more again thanks to Dan and Adeola just professionalism at ots best 👌..kindest regards Richard and Cheryl from Llanelli
