Minimoon destination, and we couldn't have asked for better. Rm 2, overlooking the golf course, beach, the Poseidon aircraft and the lighthouse (looks ace at night!). The room was very well appointed, incredibly comfortable bed and great shower. Angela greeted us and was a lovely welcome, even though a little under the weather. We met John at breakfast and what an absolute gem of a host he is. To give a little understanding of the tone, the Ladybird Books for Adults are a very quirky and amusing addition to the breakfast room. John is also super knowledgeable about the house itself, which has a very interesting history.
Breakfast was delicious, along with a varied and amusing conversation from John.
We would absolutely recommend Links Lodge to anyone wanting a comfortable, welcoming and ideally located place to stay in the area. What a wee gem of a place!!
