The Nelson Hotel

Just arrived back from a lovely 7 day Caledonian trip at the Nelson hotel Great Yarmouth, we had a lovely clean room with comfortable clean beds, had a good sleep every night, nice spacious room and bathroom, all staff were very helpful and friendly, meals were very good and plentiful ( portions a little too big ). Good atmosphere, events on most nights, bingo or someone singing. Didn’t take all the trips on the bus, lots to see and do in Great Yarmouth. We were lucky to see a Firework airplane shooting fireworks from it's wings also a drone show which was brilliant then a firework display to finish.

This hotel offers value for money. The meals were very good, the only thing is that you must stick to what you ordered that morning for your evening meal. I am not sure, but I believe the meals are ordered in from an outside supplier, but they are good and portions some times too big. Nothing skimpy about them. Some of the rooms areas are a little scruffed but on the whole OK. The staff were very nice at all times.
