Absolutely loved it here! All the staff were great, but Davina was amazing! She was polite, friendly, chatty, helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her! Thank you for making our stay here so lovely!

Lovely time spent belatedly celebrating my husband's 80th birthday. Food all good...room very comfortable...was however slightly disappointed that the corkage fee for our bottle of champagne ( a birthday gift) was £25 !! took our champagne home ☹️

The hotel is in a great location, a short drive from Sandringham and Holkham hall. You can also drive to the beach and play crazy golf (my husband didn’t play the golf on site but we would come back so he can play). The restaurant was lovely in the evening, nice ambiance and good food. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was good, including vegetarian options. We had a room in the cottage and this is where it was a bit of a let down. The room was comfy and clean, but it was tired in terms of decorating and the room didn’t have a luxury feel to them. We came after a heat wave and the room was hot. A fan was available but fortunately it wasn’t sweltering, but the room did get hot and I had to open the windows, despite some rain! That being said, there was tea and coffee with biscuits available. The WiFi in the cottage rooms was awful - couldn’t get service through their WiFi and mobile data was also poor. When you went into the hotel, it was fine so it might be worth looking into better connection for the cottage as it felt like we had a bad deal for being in a cottage room. However, we would come back but we’d stay in the hotel instead. Nice for a short break and if there was a bit of modernisation, this review would have been a five.
