Holiday Inn Express Peterborough

We were visiting Festival of the Unexceptional about 40 mins away.My son booked the hotel for a night stop the night before.We got there about 22-00 HRS .We found the twin room spacious and clean,with tea making facilities.Breakfast was included and this was excellent ,with hot breakfast and cereals,yogurt,mini muffins,fruit.Breakfast was served nice and early from 06-30 which suited us for our early start. Overall we were both very happy and would use the hotel again.

Awful because I was called a racist by one of your staff (spanish) . Im 65 and sat relaxing in reception whilst waiting for my transport. She came in and sat quite close and then had a conversation loudly on her phone. I asked her to kindly move outside or to another location because its rude to impact on my space. She was young and argued why. I tried to say its not nice to disturb my space with a conversation on your phone at volume. I then got called racist. This has affected me so much as I certainly dont have any thing against the language they were speaking I would of challenged in the same way if their conversation was in English! Its rude and as staff I feel they should be more understanding and more consideration for the guests!

Weird location in a housing estate, but rooms clean enough and standard breakfast too. reasonable prices all things considered
