Links Country Park Hotel

Pretty location close to West Runton station. Lovely building, friendly staff & comfortable room; not a fan of overhead showers. My breakfast bacon wasn't crisp, but that is a personal peeve but the breakfast sausage was brand, as were the mushrooms.

Last minute booking . 1st time at this hotel wasn’t disappointed . Lovely setting and ideal for what we wanted . Staff were friendly and food was great . Only 1 small thing to stop getting 5 . The carpet had a few marks on it , could do with being deep cleaned or replaced .

We ended up staying here very last minute for 2 nights after finding it on Booking.com and it turned out to be an excellent choice. It turned out to be cheaper booking directly at reception rather than through Booking.com Firstly the location. It is in a very small village about 7 minute drive from Cromer and there is a train station a couple of minutes walk away from the hotel. I don’t think it’s really the place for young families. The hotel itself is really lovely. Lots of traditional character and the room we had, room 206 a Deluxe Room, was really modern and very clean. Views over the front where the golf course is and we could see the sea. It was one of the biggest rooms I’ve ever stayed in and accommodated 2 adults and a teenager. There is a Tea and Coffee making facility. No mini fridge in the room unfortunately though which would have been handy. Double sinks and very large walk in shower. Sofa lounge area. We went in the pool a couple of times, booking is at Reception as the pool holds a maximum of 12 people at a time and there’s no lifeguard but we only had 10 minutes to wait before we was allowed to go in. We ate in the hotel Restaurant both nights and had the most delicious meal. I had crab one evening and seabass the next, both were excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant. The staff at this hotel were all so lovely and smiling and very helpful. I will definitely be back and will definitely request room 206 again!
