The Nelson

Disgusted. Made reservation 1 June 2025 just received email cancelling our booking - telephoned them and they say they are over booked by supposed booking.com . NOT at all helpful ,surely in the scheme of things our booking was OVER seven months old and they have only just realised this. THINK THIS IS A LIE

We have just got back from a few days in Norfolk,wasn’t to sure what to expect from the hotel,rooms are very clean and the staff couldn’t do enough for you they were so so friendly,will definitely go back,very happy customers from Cambridge

We arrived last night after deciding to spontaneously go away for a few nights. From the beginning of our stay to the end the Team at Nelson in were absolutely amazing. Grant got us in a room last minute, the room was decent and the bed is so comfy we slept like babies! Kieran the chef despite finishing work went out of his way to deliver a very tasty lasagne and pie which was very much appreciated. The atmosphere overall, the stay, they team and the room were lovely and if we are ever this way again we will definitely stay here.
