Hotel Hatfield very good value most rooms being upgraded also bar & restaurant food excellent

Appalling waited for 50 minutes for breakfast. When I asked about it was made to feel it was my fault. Said they thought we had eaten it. The lady said she had written a ticket. I said I didn't see she then proceeded to get angry with ne for absolutely no need. Julie did not even bring cutlery were we expected to get our own when we didn't know where they were? The quality of food was poor.Scrambled egg on toast came with pre buttered toast. The egg had no white in it so can only assume it was some sort of powder. Whilst eating Julie came back with the ticket she wrote and said I did write a ticket and it was spiked. Their internal procedures are nothing to do with me. Hotel room good and kept very clean.

I’ve been here a couple of times for a cup of tea the water is very poorly made. It’s never brewed properly so there’s never a strong taste to it and the staff are unfriendly and very unhelpful never service with a smile and they have put the prices up as well recently used to be £2.50 tea now you pay £3. 55 for a pot of tea. Also, recently when I’ve been here in the winter, you cannot sit inside with the dogs. You have to sit outside on a freezing cold windy day outside by the seaside you don’t wish to do that. This is unfair as I’ve seen other people with service dogs and assistance dogs allowed to sit in inside and all people that are well behaved should be allowed inside. Dogs should be allowed to sit inside this is unfair and one rule for one and one rule for the other.
