The Pelican

Fabulous place. Welcoming and friendly host. No cooked breakfast but I was asked what I liked i.e. croissants, boiled eggs, etc. and they appeared the following morning. Kingsize bed! Spacious room with ensuite! Spotlessly clean. Plenty of free parking. Couldn't ask fir more and would definitely recommend.

We came to the area for a Christmas party nearby. Our room was very comfortable and clean, with everything we needed. Breakfast was very tasty, and as we had a leisurely morning we didn’t feel at all rushed. Our host was friendly, helpful and welcoming. Would definitely return.

We stayed in this B and B whilst visiting family in the area. It was well appointed, spotlessly clean and full of character. The owner Jackie was very welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We couldn't fault anything and enjoyed a comfortable stay.
