Acomb Lodge

Just spent 5 nights here as we were visiting the Great York Show. Excellent location. We flew in so relied on feet for getting around and literally everything is on your doorstep Great communication with Paul and such a pleasant friendly host he is. Room had what we needed , comfortable bed, decent quality bedding and a good hot shower. Good sized , we were very comfortable Tea/coffee/ juice/ yoghurt and fruit available - just help yourself Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again

Absolutely lovely room , spotless with everything you might need. Paul , the host ,was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble . Added bonus was the little kitchen/ eating area with tea, coffee , milk , yoghurts and cereal provided . Not to mention the fruit bowl full with apples pears oranges and bananas . Real treasure will definitely be returning ! 5 minutes from the town centre - ideal location.

We stayed here for 3 nights while attending an exhibition at the conference centre. The room was clean and comfortable and beautifully decorated with plenty of cupboard and drawer space. The bathroom was modern with a lovely big shower. Breakfast wasn’t included but there was a small dining area with a selection of cereals and fruits, tea, coffee and fruit juice which you could help yourself to. Paul the host was very friendly and welcoming. The guest house is a short walk to the conference centre and the town. I would definitely stay here again and would certainly recommend this beautiful place.
