BW CEDAR COURT HOTEL

Met family for lunch, not in the restaurant, just the bar area, was hot day so it was nice as air conditioning was on, we just had sandwiches and chips, it was nice but fairly basic especially as the sandwiches were missing the pickles and chutney however a very busy waiter did sort it quickly. The barman/ waiter was on his own trying to take orders and serve, so not his fault the service wasn’t its best, but luckily another member of staff ( who wasn’t working the bar) saw he was struggling and stepped in, she got us some coffees and everything we needed, helped clear our table, she couldn’t do enough and she saved the day, I believe she was called Roisin, she was very professional polite and calm, thank you 👍

Quite situation, clean big room, clean bathroom, refurbished resteraunt had to take a photo of ceiling, varied menu and a few simple as well as quirky puds. Breakfast buffet pretty standard till 10 so get your extra coffee in quick before they shut the doors😂The refurbished lounge and bar area are very pleasant, few people holding business meets, families and coach groups but not that overbearing, had good deal on wowcher, excellent service esp Gary at our evening meal who looked after us very well, extra ice and wine choice, 15 min easy walk to town center, easy parking at seperate cost or in with your hotel bill😁

A fabulous afternoon tea experience, delicious food beautifully presented , everything made from scratch with locally sourced ingredients. Thank you to Richard the head chef & his team for a wonderful selection. We were looked after in the Ambers restaurant by the lovely Elenor , nothing was too much trouble, the perfect host . Overall a memorable experience , we will be back .
