Hollins House

Stayed here for three nights for work, the rooms were comfy, adjustable heating and windows you could open. En suite bathroom, which was clean and functional. Plus a number of bits and pieces that just make life a littler more relaxing - iron and board provided, tea and coffee, tv, etc. All kid of expected but nice to find them all there. It is a about 5-10 minutes walk from the centre of town and access to all services that includes. Breakfasts highly recommended!

Had a lovely stay here from Friday to Sunday. Amazing breakfasts, fruit salad and yoghurt very nice, along with cooked breakfast. (Would prefer a little background music in the dining room at breakfast, as it was very quite). Room 6 small but cozy, wi-fi worked very well throughout our stay. Bottled water tea, coffee and biscuits in room. B&B in a lovely peaceful tree lined street. Nice walk into centre of Harrogate. No problems parking outside the hotel. Peter and Mary are a very friendly couple and made our stay most welcoming, Utility room is a nice thoughtful touch with use of microwave if required. Would certainly go back, if you are looking for a traditional b&b look no further.

Stayed from Sunday to Tuesday for a short break. Situated 15 minutes walk from centre up a bit of a hill. Room was double ensuite at the top of the house so a few stairs to go up. Not a large room but adequate, small telly, loads of storage space, one arm chair, toilet and shower. Very clean and decorated in an oldish style in keeping with the house. We were the only one staying at the time but think there were 6 other rooms of different types. The breakfasts were unbelievable but owner had been a chef all his life, he was also vary friendly and would chat for ever if you wanted to. The wi-fi was excellent and could not fault it. To sum up, local,clean,friendly,wi-fi and marvellous breakfasts. Great value can fully recommend.
